Pilates for posture

Good posture is derived from a a combination of core connection, strength, flexibility and good habits, and it's the first big change I noticed in my own body when I started pilates - in fact I didn't notice, other people did!

Joseph Pilates was quoted as saying "in 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you'll see the difference, in 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body"...but in the case of posture, i'd say IN 1 SESSION YOU'LL FEEL BETTER...and quickly others notice.

And so in THRIVE in October we focus on posture, which means including sessions that might not always feel enjoyable or easy, but are very much needed to get the body lifting, extending, stretching and strengthening in new ways beyond the desk slouch, the text neck and the rounded shoulders.
